Winter Special
With the autumn colour still on the trees and perhaps a hint of snow on the high fells, November and December can make for a beautiful, peaceful break in Eskdale.

As winter takes it hold on the roof of England, January and February are the ideal months to catch the fells coated in their winter glory. With Scafell Pike within walking distance and Wasdale just 4 miles away, the high fells are easily accessible. Brook House snuggles down in the valley protected from the worst of the weather by the proximity to the coast, so the road is usually kept free of snow. After a good days walk where better than to sit by the fire sipping one of our great range of malts.
