At Brook House Inn the bar area is comfortable and welcoming. Food is served all day along with well kept real ales, 156 malt whiskies and an excellent wine list. We have been in the Good Beer Guide for the last 6 years and have an RAC dining award.

The snug is a small room seating upto 20. Tables may be booked at any time upto 8.30pm the menu is the same throughout the hotel.

In the Summer we have up to 9 real ales all lovingly cared for by Owain and the rest of our team. During the day we serve a selection of meals from the evening menu along side sandwiches on homemade bread and various salads. We use local Cumbrian farms and butchers for our steaks etc and get great seafood from the Northeast and Scotland

Tables may only be booked in the bar throughout the day and for early dining until 7pm, after which we work on a waiting list basis.We look forward to welcoming you sometime soon. Cheers
