Facilities at brook House Inn

The restaurant area will seat upto 45 so we can always reserve tables for our residents. Booking is recommended, tables may be reserved from 6.00pm to 8.15pm. The evening menu is the same throughout the Inn with specials on the blackboards. Residents on dinner bed and breakfast may choose 3 courses and coffee from either the menu or specials board.

Special menus can be created for any occasion, and the restaurant can be booked as a whole so long as we are given enough notice. Smaller parties of less than 18 can be catered for in the Grainstore. The service is friendly and informal.

Grainstore

The Grainstore is the old store room of the Brook House shop which existed until the 1950's. Now with bare beckstone granite walls and plush furnishings it makes the ideal setting for a family party.

The snug

is a small room just off the bar, seating upto 20. Tables may be booked at any time upto 8.30pm the menu is the same throughout the hotel. In winter we often have a log fire in this room especially if it is too windy to light fire in the bar. The favourite table in this room is a big square one which seats eight and is great for social occasions.

Bedrooms

Brook House Inn has 8 en-suite bedrooms, tastefully furnished and recently decorated to a high standard, all rooms have a bath with shower over, colour TV, DVD player, tea making facilities and wonderful views of Eskdale. Wifi is available in some areas of the Inn. A drying room is provided for boots and waterproofs. See below for pictures of our rooms and the views from the windows.
